CATHY LAWN COUNSELLING - PRIVACY NOTICE
INTRODUCTION
This document sets out my Privacy Policy as required under the new General Data Protection Regulation which came into effect on 25th May 2018. It describes how I look after and use any information you may give me, either as a client, a perspective client or someone who has communicated with me about counselling services. It also describes your privacy rights.

As a Sole Trader, I (Catherine Lawn) am the Data Controller and am registered with the ICO.

DISCLOSURE AND SHARING OF INFORMATION
I will never share your personal information except with your permission. The only exception to this is that if I am concerned that you may harm yourself or other people and I may then need to break confidentiality to gain support.
STORAGE OF INFORMATION
Contact information is stored electronically by mobile phone, laptop, home computer and the devices are password protected. It is also stored in paper form. Case Notes are handwritten and stored securely. Contact details are also recorded by hand and are stored securely and separately in a different location from Case Notes.

ABOUT COOKIES
